Our 2008 Brucher Pinot Noir is a contemporary Pinot which is lighter than a traditional Pinot. Offering an abundance of color and clarity, this wine makes a great aperitif and sipping wine, and pairs with a multitude of dishes. The grapes originate from Wolff Vineyards in the Edna Valley in San Luis Obispo County.
Tasting Notes
Color Dark ruby.
Nose Toasty oak, strawberry, and a trace of cranberry.
Taste Bright strawberry and blackberry fruit. Lively balance with lots of sweet oak. Medium structure. Soft, pleasant mouth feel. Long, pleasant, fruity finish.
General A pleasant aperitif or stand-alone wine. Wonderful with oily fish and light meats, mild cheeses, and creamy pasta sauces. Serve with any delicate and complex foods.
