The 2007 Golden Bear Pinot Noir is our most versatile varietal as it pairs with the most food. It has a wonderful color and a classic Pinot nose. It can be sipped or paired with your favorite dish. The grapes are grown in the Santa Maria Valley in Santa Barbara County. Brucher Winery has been perfecting Pinots since the early 90's, and this is our first offered under the Golden Bear label.
Tasting Notes
Color Dark, dense, ruby red.
Nose Gravelly cherry and strawberry with a little oak.
Taste Dense flavors of blackberry and oak. Big-bodied and balanced. Nice, long finish.
General Rich and bold style of Pinot Noir to accompany roasted beef, vegetables, and potatoes. Not a frivolous wine!
